The Navodayan Scholar Fund (NSF) is a prestigious scholarship program supported by the JNV Patan, Sikar Alumni Association. It aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students pursuing undergraduate studies at premier institutes or universities.
Nachita Yogi (Batch 2023), currently a student at Miranda House (W), University of Delhi, has been selected as a recipient of the NSF scholarship for her BSc. (Hons.) Physics program.
The NSF scholarship will cover a duration of 3 years, supporting scholars’ entire undergraduate journey.
Each year, NSF will provide an annual scholarship up to ₹50,000. This financial support will assist in covering tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and food costs.
The scholarship will be renewed every semester/Annually, contingent upon maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7 or higher. Consistent academic performance is vital for the continuation of the scholarship.
NSF encourages scholars to give back to society once they enter the workforce. Scholars have the option to support the education of one student as a means of contributing to the community.
Recipients are chosen based on both merit and financial need. NSF conducts a thorough review of the economic background of applicants to ensure assistance is provided to those who require it most.
The scholarship support will commence in July 2023, marking the initiation of NSF's commitment to empowering deserving students.
We invite NSF scholarships applications every year in July-Aug.
