About the Alumni Association

Navodaya Alumni Society is an organization of ex-students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Patan, Sikar (Raj).

This is an alumni initiative to impart social, educational and professional experiences with the current students of JNV Patan.

This organisation is established with moral and ethical standards that we learnt during our mesmerizing time at JNV Patan.

Promote

and foster an effective interaction among the alumni and the institution with a common goal of overall development of students

Improve

physical and social infrastructure of the school to provide best possible facilities for students

Organize

activities of civic, charitable or promotional nature for the betterment of the society

Implement

benefit schemes to recognize and help outstanding students and alumni members

About JNV Patan, Sikar

The National Policy on Education 1986 envisaged the setting up of residential schools, to be called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas that would bring out the best of rural talent. Under the same policy, JNV Patan, Sikar was established in 1987. The first batch of students passed out from JNV Patan in year 1994.

Serve the objectives of excellence coupled with equity and social justice

Promote national integration by providing opportunities to the talented children from rural background to build a potential career ahead

Ensure a reasonable level of competence among all students of Navodaya Vidyalayas in three languages as envisaged in the 'Three Language Formula

Provide good quality modern education, including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education

Become a focal point for improvement in the quality of school education through sharing of experiences and facilities
